Easter

A mother can never choose when looking at cute pictures, so here are all the adorable pictures that the amazing Becca took of Finley this last Easter Sunday.  Avery came along to help Finley smile, but then we convinced her to jump into a couple shots.  She's playing around with her new camera smile. LOVE these girls!

Easter Day

My kids are pretty fun and cute =)  We enjoyed a fun visit from an old friend and her 3 boys this Easter weekend.  Such a fun coincidence that we moved to where her sister lives, so I still get to keep in touch!  Our kids have fun together.  We went on an Easter egg hunt, dyed eggs, and Easter church, of course!  We also planted some jelly beans that sprouted suckers.  I was very proud of myself for playing the piano while some sisters at church sang and I didn't make any obvious mistakes or have any of my limbs start shaking uncontrollably.  I love my Savior.  I love my family.  Life is good!

Seven Months

This pretty girl turned 7 months on St. Patrick's Day last week.  From these pictures, she appears to be a future witch, singer, or musician.  Or possibly she'll be all three! =)

Finley sings herself to sleep.

She loves her siblings and daddy.  They all make her smile and laugh, but she is a true mama's girl.

She rolls and gets in the crawling position and rocks back and forth.  I'm in no rush for her to start crawling, but it looks like she's close.

Finn loves to chew on phones and remote controls.  

She has two bottom teeth. 

She still wakes up 1-3 times a night, although she doesn't always need food, just a good swaddle and rock.

She has tasted some solid foods, but doesn't get much down yet.

She likes to blow spit bubbles.

Overall, she is a very happy baby that we continue to adore and count ourselves so blessed to have her in our family!

St. Patty's Week 2016

Here's a mish-mash of some pictures this week.  Finley turned 7 months on St. Patrick's day.  We celebrated with some green donuts.  Henry keeps playing with different faces.  Every so often, I'll look over to find him giving me his cheesy grin, and it makes me laugh.  The weeks are busy and flying by.

Hats!

We love hats and we love grandma!  I love having a daughter who lets me do her hair, as long as she has a good show on tv to watch while I work =)  We are loving these new curlers that give her curly sue curls and are soft to sleep on.  This last shot is Henry at Dillards.  He was done shopping.  Lately he wears pj's everyday.  I thought I had broken him of the habit this week, although he insists on slippers.  But today, it's pj's and slippers. I can't say that I blame him so we go with it.  He was so happy to have his cousins Ember and Lane visit last week, even if he was a tad grumpy.  He really looks up to Lane, and he likes to pat Embers head.  She tolerates it, and likes to play with Henry, too. 

I must explain Avery's beard picture.  We just ran across this picture from last year on Eric's phone.  I was working and she wanted Eric to put make-up on her to make her look like a cat.  He had a different plan that he didn't reveal until she was already painted like a man.  She hates the picture now, but I think she'll appreciate the humor when she's older =).

Easter 2016

Grandma took some family photos before they left.  I threw the girls' Easter dresses on, which is coming at the end of March.  I love my family and must add that I think they're pretty good looking =)  Thanks grandma!!
