An Adventure

Let me tell you about our adventure these past 8 months.
One week after becoming pregnant, while at our Thanksgiving Sun River vacation, we found out that the company for which Eric works for did not get their contract renewed with Con Agra and thus he would be out of work at the end of January.
Thankfully, while he was job searching, a position as Tate's first grade teacher opened up for me.  This was an answer to prayers and a testimony to me that Heavenly Father is aware of each of us and our needs.  The timing was miraculous.  I really enjoyed going to work, and love Eric as a stay-at-home dad!  I assured the staff and parents that I would be there until the end of the school year.  Meanwhile, Eric looked for work in the Tri-Cities with no luck.
One day as we were visiting Pendleton to have our teeth looked at by Papa Ritchie, Eric received a phone call out of the blue from a trucking company in Missoula, Montana.  They had found his resume on-line and were interested in hiring him.  We weren't planning on moving, but with this looking like the best option, Eric moved forward with interviews and next thing we know, we are moving to Montana!  It is beautiful and the people are nice, but so sad to leave our friends and family behind.
Thus began our moving adventure.

During this transition time, we brought pink balloons home to announce to the kids that this baby would be a girl.  Lane was the most cooperative for pictures, as usual. Then, one morning, the house almost burnt down due to this block wedged into the room heater of the "man cave".  On one of our trips to Missoula to look for housing, we discovered that Spokane has an awesome children's museum.  It's not cheap, but it's great for a stop in the middle of the drive to release some energy.  Henry loves the cars, of course.  And Avery adores painting.
