Here's little Aves in her favorite chair reminiscing on the past year where she learned to bite and growl in retaliation to Tate, crawl and now walk, say dada, mama, tada and wow, clap, beg for whatever food you have, and dance like nobody's business (among many other things) . Yes, it's been a great year!
Tate has been doing lots, too. He's currently working on his sneaky skills and is mysteriously found sleeping in our bed each morning. He's loving having a little sister around to play with, and is getting better at being gentle. =) It's hard to make a list of what he likes because he prides himself in being unpredictable. He does enjoy checking out the potty in whatever venue we find ourselves. He likes commercials, books, and anywhere that he spots a bathroom to point out. His favorite activity is probably rough housing with whoever will oblige.
Shelly is most proud this year that she has remained somewhat sane amidst 2 young children. It helps that both wee ones are great at giving lots of kisses!
Eric is working his patooty off by returning home every evening and weekend and helping out big-time on the home front. He's quite awesome at diaper changes, motivating Tate to get ready for bed, and just playing with the rascals.
We love the holidays and wish all a Merry Christmas as we remember the true reason for the season!!
