November

I had to laugh because Finley could hardly move in her snow suit.  But she still loved sledding and sledding worked even with so little snow!  It melted by the time the big kids got out of snow, so they were sad.  But it's been a few weeks since that first snowfall, and we've had plenty more to make up for it!
I don't know why, but I found it so entertaining that Finley was carefully dipping her nugget in sauce.

Although these are a bit blurry, I love Finley's little bed head.

All dressed up for the ward Christmas Brunch.  It was so yummy and I'm always a fan of social functions in the morning as opposed to the evenings.
Avery's favorite part of gingerbread houses-demolition!!
Date night with Avery at Wendys.
 Henry grocery shopping with puppy.

 Baby selfie.

 Finley says "hi" on command.

Date night at the store trying on masks.

Birthday party for Hope, the neighbor, included swimming and goodies!

Avery's new mini-toy that came in the mail mysteriously-nobody ordered it.
Bishop giving sled rides in the parking lot after the Christmas brunch.  Avery was enjoying the ride and pulling Henry behind her.  Henry was leaning back eating his "reindeer poop" (Whoppers).

 Snuggles!

Fall Family

My friend Becca is generous with her talents and she took some pictures for us when mom and dad were in town.  This was on campus with the beautiful foliage.  I love these people.

Last Weekend

You know, I don't think that Bre cares as much about pictures as I do, and as soon as we told the kids to go on the porch for pictures, Lane went out and proudly stood tall with a great smile.  He can strike a pose!  My kids took some more persuading =)  I love Finley's face in that coat!  We made a quick trip to Kennewick last weekend because we haven't been to the temple in a couple years due to pregnancy and moving.  So we decided the only way to make it is to drop the kids with grandma and grandpa.   We hit and killed a coyote on our way there, though, and that was super sad.  On a happier note, Carley came with us to the temple and we saw Luna and Dewey.  Also, Ritchie, Debbie, and Jennifer stopped by. It's always great to see everyone.

Halloween!

Halloween is great.  I don't get the origins and the scary stuff, and it's annoying to have the kids eat candy for days, but it's a fun tradition and out of the ordinary and welcomes in the holiday season so I'm on board!  Plus, dress-up is fun.  Avery is a zombie bride and I plan on learning to work with some real Halloween make-up next year (just bought some on Clearance!).  This year we just used my eye-liner on her lips and put a bunch of my eye-shadow around her eyes.  She wanted red lips, but I don't even own lip stick.  Avery's attitude towards her costume was of "my mom made me wear this".  Next year she wants to be something scary.  The only reason I'm okay with this shift in attitude is because I still have Finley to dress-up!

Finley is the cutest lady bug!!  Henry was going to be Thomas the Train and refused to wear the adorable gnome costume I bought him last year on clearance.  However, last minute he decided to go along with the caterpillar costume, thus creating a "love bug" theme out of my two youngest =)  He knocked on one door and there were large dogs so he ran back to the sidewalk.  But when he saw the man handing out candy, he ran back up the porch steps saying "trick or treat!".  Finley waddled around until she got two pieces of candy, one for each hand.  I took her home and she ate her candy and went to bed.  She was pretty happy.  I love how her costume accentuates those cheeks!!

Tate still wears whatever I buy him like a good boy =) He was a stealth ninja who stayed out longer than any of the others and has lots of candy.  He's also in my good graces because he's so generous with his candy =)

We watched tv and ate candy and the kids jumped up to hand out candy to trick or treaters.  We ran out of candy at about 8pm.  This is a great neighborhood.  I love my little family and enjoy them so much during holiday traditions.
