Christmas Card 2015

This was our Christmas Card for 2015.  Silly cookies.

5 Months

Time continues to fly and Finley is already 5 months of squishy thighs and big smiles!!!!!

Kindness

I couldn't choose a favorite sisters photo, so they're all here.  The first photo of Henry in the train hat cracks me up.  First of all, he loves Thomas the Train and insists on the hat.  Second of all, it reminds me of the great kindness of Sister Harris in our ward.  She got a piano from her father and posted to facebook that she wanted to give her paino away.  I jumped on that offer!  I have really missed our piano that we sold to a friend in Kennewick before moving.  I feel that Heavenly Father worked through Sister Harris to help me feel better.  We bought a keyboard on Criag's List when I was called to play in Primary because we can't afford a piano, but it is not the same.  So, I so appreciate and love this piano!  The day we had had it tuned by a nice older man, Henry came and sat by me and just held this look that he's giving in the picture.  It was funny.  Looking back, I think he was a little shy and wanted some explanation as to what the stranger was doing in our home =).

January 2016

This January marks our first winter in Missoula and boy, is it cold!  I feel like we live in a snow globe with the white sky and regular snow.  It's absolutely beautiful and I look forward to one day enjoying more sledding and some skiing.  But with a toddler and baby at home, we enjoy a cozy time at home pretending it's a snow lodge where I bake a lot.  Thank goodness for Christmas toys, and a sweet baby, to play with!

I also threw in some pictures from our pumpkin patch visit back in October.  The people here are so nice.  We realized once we got to the patch that we didn't have cash, only credit/debit cards.  The kind workers just gave us the pumpkins that night and were so nice to the kids.

Speaking of kind, tonight we went to the new Krispy Kremes here in town because they give a free glazed donut for a good report card.  The nice worker there let Avery choose 6 pink and chocolate and sprinkle topped donuts!  I bought a hot chocolate and he gave me an extra for free.  He really made my day as I had spent today babysitting, doing laundry, and ultimately was pooped and peed on by a certain potty training boy =)
