Henry will turn 2 on Tuesday, and we celebrated with family today. The bonus is that cousin Kosmo turns 10 today, so he shared in the celebration, along with his sister, Luna, who recently turned 13. That's not her in the purple in the background. That's cousin Riley. Mom's camera and photography skills were sadly missed today, so here are my phone pictures. It was nice to have Kosmo there to show Henry what to do with the burning flames in front of his face. He caught on real quick, and then watched Kosmo finish his off since he had a few more =)
The pinata pictures are out of sequence. The video shows Henry's attempts at the toy before he had seen anyone else take a whack. The middle pictures shows his delight when he watched cousin Kosmo show how to really attack a pinata.
Henry is so easy-going and happy. He's funny and obsessed with apple sauce and knives. He loves to run around with his siblings, but he also loves alone time with mom and dad after the older kids go to bed on many nights when he stays up a little later. Tonight was really fun to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, Lori and her family, and Carley with her family. Cousin Lane came, too. I took pictures of all the cousins with the pinata, but they turned out blurry and creepy, so here's all I got. We love this boy and are thrilled that he's in our family!
p.s. This is my first attempt at a video using this computer and phone. I don't know why it's playing weird and with no sound, but I'm too tired to figure it out tonight.
p.p.s. We need to drink more punch. Like at every minor and major occasion/celebration/get-together. I suppose it's akin to some families that celebrate with beer. I'm vowing to become the punch lady in our circle of friends and family. Yes, this is a fabulous idea of which I am going to follow through=)

Save me a minion cupcake. Lane didn't know what a twinkie was.
