Easter 2018

Last week was spring break and Eric was working, so the kids and I drove the 5 hours to grandma and grandpa's home in Kennewick.  The drive went surprisingly smooth.  We stopped for gas, snacks, and to feed the baby and then had one more stop to feed baby again and then we were there!  Ralphie is 5 months now!  I aspired to blogging for each month of his life during his first year, but we'll have to give or take a few!  He is rolling and adorable and very happy, and LOVES a snuggle.  He prefers his crib at home to the pack and play while we travel.  He also spits a lot so I am taking dairy and chocolate out of my diet in hopes of helping him keep his food down.  I'm not being very stoic about it either, I'll complain and compensate with salty treats until this is over! By the way, this quilt is one of my absolute favorites that mom has made!
Finley is 2.5 and recently potty trained, even through the night!  She's a rock star and just a lot of fun.
Tate is ten and usually found with his nose in a book, be it Harry Potter or any funny graphic novel like Captain Underpants or Nate the Great.  He loves riddles and jokes and building with Lego or Zoobs.  He's a peacemaker and tries to help when he can.

Avery is now 8!  She loves to play pretend with friends and draw.  She does best when she has a project and was thrilled to have grandma teach her to sew.  She offered to teach me how to sew today.  Watch out, though, she can be mischevious!
Sweet cousin Ember here is so much fun.

Adorable cousin Davin is one and recently started walking.  I love his expression here.

Avery and cousin Lane, dangerous duo since 2008.

Henry is five and getting so big that it breaks my heart a little.  He'll start kindergarten this fall.  I'm not ready!  But he is.  He loves Mariocart and matchbox cars.  He can usually be found cuddling Ralphie saying "I love you, Ralphie!"

Finley loves a cartoon, Superwhy, and is saying "To the Rescue!".

Another Month Flies By!

Ralphie's shirt says "Burt's Bees Baby" which I like because he's partly named after my grandpa-Ralph Burt.
